Ben's Minecraft File Downlaods

General Install

1. Click the to copy the pack link
2. Open Prism Launcher
3. Click "Add Instance" in the top bar
4. Select "Import" from the left bar
5. Paste the link into the direct download box in Prism Launcher. Change the name at the top if you want
6. Click "OK" to finish the installation
7. Launch Minecraft to confirm everything works
8. Check and adjust any settings you need to

Additional Mods

1. Click the profile name or icon in the right bar to edit them
2. Add additional mods
   1. In the right bar, click "Edit" then, click "Mods" on the left, then "Downloads" on the right
   2. In the left bar, click Modrinth then use the search bar to find the mod
   3. Select the mods for download by checking the box to the left or clicking "Select mod for download" near the bottom
   4. Once you've found all the mods, click "Review and confirm", then "OK"

Shortcuts (Linux specific)

1. If you installed Prism through Flatpak, you may need to run sudo flatpak override org.prismlauncher.PrismLuncher --filesystem=home to allow Prism to create the shortcut
2. Open Prism and select the profile you want to shortcut
3. Click "Create Shortcut" in the left bar
4. You can change the name or account if you wish
5. Click "OK"
6. Save the shortcut in /home/$USER/.local/share/applications/ with the default name
7. Edit the saved file in a text editor and replace any single quotes with double quotes. This is needed due to a Prism bug
8. Give Gnome a few seconds, then verify that the shortcut shows up. If it doesn't, running desktop-file-validate "/path/to/file" may reveal the reason
